Serge is a gentle giant with a huge heart.  Bought when he was 3-1/2 years old from Regalia Akitas, Serge is the dog who really put Grand Slam Akitas on the map.  This Group Winner and Multiple Group Placer originally hated the idea of going in the ring.  However, after a lot of work and many hair pulling experiences, Serge has begun to enjoy his occasional visit to the ring.  However, as all great things come to an end, so has his show career.  At 6 years of age Serge retired and passed the baton onto some of our up and coming younger dogs.  At over 8 years of age now, Serge will occasionally enter the ring as a veteran at specialty shows.  Serge is no longer available at stud except to close friends of ours.  The sire of the 2000 Akita Club of America National Specialty winners dog and Best of Opposite Winner, as well as many other Champions, Serge has nothing left to prove as a show dog or a sire.  In 2003, Serge received his ROM from the national club, something given to stud dogs that have produced over 10 champion get.  We thank everyone who has supported Serge throughout his career and hope you will be behind our future dogs as well.
